Project Overview
The Drug Tracking System is a nationwide digital platform developed to modernize Iraq's pharmaceutical supply chain. Designed for the Ministry of Health's KIMADIA, the platform provides complete visibility into the movement of medicines and medical supplies—from procurement and border entry to warehouses, healthcare facilities, and final dispensing to patients.
By replacing fragmented processes with a unified digital ecosystem, the project strengthens transparency, improves inventory management, and enables healthcare authorities to monitor pharmaceutical operations in real time. Built to support one of Iraq's largest public healthcare networks, the platform plays a vital role in ensuring medicine availability, operational efficiency, and patient safety across the country.
The Challenge
Managing pharmaceutical inventories across a nationwide healthcare system presents significant operational and logistical challenges. Healthcare authorities required a solution capable of tracking medicines throughout their entire lifecycle while maintaining accurate inventory records, reducing waste, and providing reliable data for decision-making.
The platform also needed to support thousands of healthcare facilities, integrate with existing government systems, and provide a scalable foundation for future healthcare digital transformation initiatives.
Our Solution
Nass Al Iraq Holding Group delivered a comprehensive pharmaceutical tracking platform that digitizes every stage of the medicine lifecycle—from procurement and customs clearance to storage, distribution, and patient dispensing.
The solution combines intelligent inventory management, real-time reporting, advanced analytics, and secure system integration into a unified platform that enables healthcare professionals and decision-makers to monitor pharmaceutical operations with greater accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
Designed with scalability and flexibility in mind, the platform continues to support Iraq's evolving healthcare infrastructure while providing a reliable foundation for future digital services.
